Decisions by Morgan P

Confusion invades life itself

clouding the shelf,

first hard to find,

in my young mind.

Sadness drowns out all hope – all is lost,

too high a cost

is living life

where risks are rife.

It’s just not worth it, is it? You

have to fight to

maybe survive –

Barely alive.

The speaker in this poem is a high school student who feels alone. The mood i this poem is sadnessa nd confusion. The intended audience is anyone that feels the same way. The theme in this poem is that sometimes it's hard to find yourself when your lost. I really liked this poem because of the form it was written in and the words used.

Morgan! ^-^
I really enjoyed your poem. It was really deep. You used great word choice. I think the whole meaning of the poem really makes you think. Everything went together so well, and having to write in a certain form didn't hold you back at all. I think the theme is life. Great job! You are an amazing poet :D

Your poem was amazing! I liked the rhyme scheme for your minute poem! I feel like the voice is a confused person, who's fighting for something important. The attitude of the speaker, came across to me as scared or nervous about the "fight". Your mood seemed kinda eerie or dark. Again, great job! Loved it :)
